OG Esports announces new Dota 2 roster for the new season

    Sportsadda-24-SEP-Article-1

OG Esports has refreshed its roster ahead of the 2025/26 Dota 2 season. Two-time The International winner Johan ‘N0tail’ Sundstein will continue his role as the team’s head coach, but now, he has a new roster to lead.

The OG roster only had two players before the news, as Tamir ‘daze’ Tokpanov and Mihajlo ‘MikSa`’ Jovanovic joined earlier in 2025. They played alongside Indji ‘Shad’ Lub, who was initially on loan from Natus Vincere. The other two players are Brazilian support player Rodrigo ‘Lelis’ Santos, and Igor ‘Stojkov’ Stojkov.

    OG’s ambitious roster

Considering Shad, MikSa`, and daze are already familiar with each other after their time together earlier in 2025, they make up the strong foundation for this team. Lelis provides the stability this team needs from the hard support player. The Brazilian is an experienced player who has played in The International before.

Stojkov is the most unknown name of the bunch, as he only started playing Dota 2 esports in 2022. Since then, he has risen in the ranks and proven himself enough to catch N0tail’s attention. The mid-laner from North Macedonia is on a trial basis in the meantime, but if he can prove himself to be a star player, he will be signed on a permanent deal.

N0tail also has a new assistant coach named Marc ‘HoviteY’ Abrusnikow, who has been a top presence in the European Dota 2 scene for a long while. Now, he will assist N0tail in devising tactics for this team.

The new era for OG Dota

Apart from a new roster, OG also strengthened the organisation as N0tail and fellow OG co-founder Sébastien ‘Ceb’ Debs struck a deal with fan token firm Chiliz. As the owner of Socios.com, Chiliz took a controlling 51% stake in OG, which boosts the team’s funding for their competitive future.

OG already has an illustrious history, and this new roster has potential. With Chiliz’s support, the organisation could maintain their support for the roster and N0tail’s coaching ahead of a massive 2025/26 Dota 2 esports season.

  • Cristiano Ronaldo extends career in Saudi Arabia

Cristiano Ronaldo extends career in Saudi Arabia

    Sportsadda-23-SEP-Article-4

Cristiano Ronaldo is 40 and still scoring at a high level in Saudi Arabia. The star striker has signed a new deal with Al-Nassr that will keep him there past his 42nd birthday. This means his time in Europe is now seen as closed, regardless of the interest from fans who want to see him back.

Ronaldo has won two Golden Boots in the Saudi Pro League and has stayed sharp for the Portugal squad. His focus is on the next World Cup and achieving his dream of scoring 1,000 career goals. Each match in Saudi Arabia is a step toward that goal.

The chance of a European return has faded. Former Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen said clubs could not match Ronaldo’s high wages. He explained that Bayern Munich showed some interest, but no team took the risk.

Ronaldo’s story in Europe was written at Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus. His final stage is now set in Saudi Arabia.

  • Silva slams Man City’s short rest after Arsenal draw

Silva slams Man City’s short rest after Arsenal draw

    Sportsadda-23-SEP-Article-1

Manchester City’s congested fixture schedule drew attention after their 1-1 draw with Arsenal. Bernardo Silva highlighted the challenges of a short turnaround, saying the team was not fully prepared for the clash.

The game at the Emirates Stadium saw a late goal from Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli, cancelling out City’s earlier lead and keeping the Premier League title race tightly contested.

City had only 66 hours to recover after their 2-0 Champions League win over Napoli. In contrast, Arsenal had four days off following a 2-0 win over Athletic Club in Bilbao.

‘It is not fair to play one of these games like this. It is just not right,’ Silva said. Manager Pep Guardiola also mentioned that his side was ‘incredibly tired’, as City had to cope with one of the tightest schedules in the league.

  • Imran Khan lashes out at cricket board after back-to-back losses

Imran Khan lashes out at cricket board after back-to-back losses

    Sportsadda-23-SEP-Article-2

Jailed former Prime Minister and ex-cricketer Imran Khan lashes out at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) after the team lost twice to India in the Asia Cup. He said Pakistan had little chance to win with the board running the way it is.

Khan mocked the management, saying the only way to beat India was if PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi and Army Chief General Asim Munir walked out as openers, with top judges and election chiefs as umpires. His sister Aleema Khan said he made the joke after she told him about the defeats.

The 1992 World Cup-winning captain blamed Naqvi for the fall of Pakistan cricket. He pointed to weak leadership and favouritism as the main reasons. He also claimed that General Munir meddled in the 2024 elections, affecting his party’s win.

His words show his anger at the state of Pakistan cricket and the wider political dispute.

Haryana Steelers claimed their fourth straight win in the Pro Kabaddi League 2025 with a narrow 38-36 victory over Tamil Thalaivas at the SMS Indoor Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday, September 20. The result lifted the defending champions to third place on the table with six wins and two losses, while coach Manpreet Singh made history by becoming the first coach in PKL to reach 100 career victories.

The second half saw constant swings as Deshwal kept the Thalaivas in the contest. A key spell from substitute Mayank Saini, who scored with multi-point raids, restored Haryana’s edge. In the closing minutes, both teams fought hard, but the Steelers held firm to seal a tense two-point win. Tamil Thalaivas now sit eighth with three wins and four losses.

  • Chelsea secures WSL top spot after 1-0 win vs Leicester

Chelsea secures WSL top spot after 1-0 win vs Leicester

    Sportsadda-22-SEP-Article-1

Chelsea claimed the top of the Women’s Super League (WSL) table after a 1-0 win over Leicester City on Sunday, September 21, at Kingsmeadow. Star player Aggie Beever-Jones scored the only goal of the game in the seventh minute, which gave the Blues an early edge.

The young forward finished from a six-yard range, where she managed to slot the ball past Leicester goalkeeper Janina Leitzig. It was her third WSL goal in a row, showing her rise as a key name in Chelsea’s attacking side.

The Blues had the better of the first half, as they kept the ball in possession and slotted more chances. Meanwhile, the Foxes found their rhythm in the second half. They tried to push for a goal during stoppage time, but Chelsea’s Hannah Hampton hit them with a fine save.

It was a strong win for Chelsea as they took the top spot. During the game, they also gave a minute’s silence to pay tribute to former Chelsea manager, Matt Beard, who passed away on Saturday.

  • Kelly turns hero for Juventus after Newcastle exit

Kelly turns hero for Juventus after Newcastle exit

    Sportsadda-19-SEP-Article-3

Lloyd Kelly has become an unlikely star at Juventus after scoring in back-to-back games against Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund. The 26-year-old defender netted his first Serie A goal in a 4-3 win over Inter, then struck a last-minute equaliser in a dramatic 4-4 Champions League draw with Dortmund. His goals made him the first English defender to score for Juventus in Serie A and the first Englishman to score for the club in Europe’s top event.

Kelly’s rise is striking, given his tough spell at Newcastle. Signed on a free transfer in 2024, he faced stiff competition from Lewis Hall and Dan Burn, which limited his time on the pitch. Newcastle later sold him to Juventus for €17.5 million, partly due to financial rules.

Once called a poor signing in Italy, Kelly has since earned trust under coach Igor Tudor. With his match-winning form, he is now viewed as a key figure for Juventus and a new fan favourite in Turin.
